How to handle stress in front of a review

Preparation before the exam to reduce anxiety:

• Choose a location convenient to pay the examination,

• Come to the exam with confidence.

• Strive to achieve a state of relaxed concentration Avoid talking with peers who are not well prepared, which is expressed in a negative way to distract your preparation

During the test

• Read the instructions carefully

• Control the time during the examination

• Change positions to relax

• If your mind goes blank, skip the question and continue.

• If the assessment is a test, and the mind is placed in standby mode with respect to any examination, take a question and start writing. That may help trigger the answer in your head.

• Do not panic when other students start handing in their work. There is no reward to be delivered first.

If you're tense and nervous during the test,

• Relax-Relax, you are in control Breathe in slowly and deeply.

• Do not think about fear. Pause: think about the next step and stay on task, step by step

• Relaxation-Use positive reinforcement for yourself: recognize what he has done, what he is doing the best.

• Be prepared to feel some anxiety It is a reminder that the best thing to do and put all the energy there, just keep it manageable.

• Note that anxiety can be a "habit" and it's the practical use as a tool to succeed.

After review, Relaxation-mentally-how did it go

• Make a list of things that resulted, and stay with these strategies. No matter how small you are the items: they are building blocks for success

• Make a list of what did not work to improve

• Hold this in place to overcome this hurdle

What is a solar dermatitis?

It is a common skin reaction that is caused by exposure to the sun's rays, which cause damage to the skin more or less depending on its type, being most sensitive skins pale. Sunlight is particularly rich in UV radiation in areas close to the sea and high altitudes. The skin lesion is higher the greater the intensity of sunlight and length of exposure and lower the degree of pigmentation of the exposed area.

What are the symptoms of dermatitis solar?

Sunburn starts with an intense cutaneous flushing hours after exposure, followed by the formation of small vesicles or fluid-filled skin blisters, in areas that have been exposed to sunlight. At the end there is the peeling and healing of the lesion. Where are mild (solar erythema), redness follows directly from the flaking can occur and skin. Sometimes symptoms may appear as a general fever, headache and vomiting.

Who is most at risk of suffering from dermatitis solar?

Solar erythema is most common in patients with pale skin, red hair and freckled. It is very common in children and young women, and tends to recur in successive exposures. They are less common in dark-skinned races, Mediterranean, Indian, black.

Crystal Cave Giants in MEXICO

Naica Mine of Chihuahua, Mexico, is a working mine that is known for its extraordinary crystals. Naica is a mine of lead, zinc and silver in which large gaps have been found, containing crystals of selenite (gypsum) as long as 4 feet in diameter and feet long. The chamber containing these crystals is known as the Crystal Cave of Giants, and is approximately 1000 feet of the large amount of limestone rock in the mine. The crystals were formed by hydrothermal fluids emanating from the magma chambers below. The cavern was discovered while the miners were drilling through the fault of Naica, which were concerned that could flood the mine. The Cave of Swords is another chamber in Naica Mine, containing similar large crystals.

Naica mine was first discovered by previous search in 1794 in the south of the city of Chihuahua. They struck a vein of silver at the base of a mountain called by the Indians Naica Tarahumaras. Origin in the Tarahumara language seems to mean "shady place". Perhaps here in the small canyon there was a refugee by a small grove of the barrel spring.

Since that discovery, until around 1900, the primary interest was silver and gold. Around 1900 began mining on a large scale when the zinc and lead became more valuable.
During the Mexican Revolution the mine was producing a large amount of wealth. The revolutionary troops entered the town and demanded money from the owners. One was killed when he refused to pay, making the mine closed in 1911 to 1922.
Just before they closed the mine, the famous Cave of Swords was discovered at a depth of 400 feet. Due to the incredible crystals, it was decided to preserve this cave. While many of the crystals were collected, this is still a fascinating cave to visit. On one hand there are so many crystals on one wall, which seemed like an underwater reef moving in a gentle wave on the ocean current.

In April 2000, brothers Juan and Pedro Sanchez were opening a new tunnel when they made a truly spectacular discovery. While Naica miners were accustomed to finding crystals, Juan and Pedro were absolutely amazed by the cave they found. The brothers immediately informed the engineer in charge, Roberto Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez realized that they had discovered a natural treasure and quickly took a new route to the tunnel. During this phase some damage was inflicted as several miners tried to remove pieces of the mega-crystals, so the mining company soon installed a steel door to protect the find. Later, one of the workers, with the intention of stealing crystals, managed to enter through a narrow gap. He tried to take some plastic bags filled with fresh air, but the strategy did not work. He lost consciousness and was later found burnt out.

When entering the cave our group is to provide helmets, flashlights, rubber boots and gloves. One must then be carried by truck to the main mining tunnel called Rampa San Francisco. While the vertical drop is approximately 1000 feet, the road is about half a mile away. The heat steadily increases and has been observed that women are beginning to be "incandescent". The van stops in front of a wall of concrete with steel doors. The intense heat can prevent brain function. At the end of the tunnel there are three or four steps towards the opening of the cave itself. It is in this small tunnel, in this short distance the temperature and humidity will be uncomfortably warm to literally a blast furnace.

Momentarily, the penetrating heat is forgotten as the crystals are apparent on the other side of "The Eye of the Queen. The whole scene is now on and the cave is a deep and impressive appearance of cathedral that was not visible on earlier trips with just our hand lamps.

When inside the great cathedral of crystals, the pressure of intense heat creates a spectrum of emotions and perhaps hallucinations. One can only stay there for a short period of time.

Geologists report that these natural crystal formations are incredibly complex, but simple. They have a magical or metaphysical personality independent of its chemical structure. There is a magma chamber two or three miles below the mountain and that heat from this compressed lava travels through the cracks into the area above the mine. Super hot fluids that carry the minerals the miners are seeking as well as forming the crystals. The mine is ventilated, they can not be worked. Some parties, however, are not air conditioned, such as the Crystal Cave, and there you can feel the heat from the magma below. The fluids travel through the fault of Naica, enter voids in the foundation, and then form entirely natural structures that are not easily explained scientifically.

In April 2000, the mining company concealed that the phreatic surface on the other side of the fault had been sufficiently reduced to drill.

When did this, it's almost as if a magical veil of reality was broken off and discovered a whole new world. Two caves filled with crystals larger than the Earth were immediately revealed. It is hoped that further discoveries in this magical kingdom of natural beauty.

Selenite, the gypsum crystal, named after the Greek goddess of the moon, Selene, due to its soft white light, is said to have many metaphysical and healing benefits. Selenite powder cosmetics have been used for thousands of years to enhance the natural beauty of a person. It is believed that this glass helps with mental focus, growth, luck, immunity, and soothes the emotions.

The biosphere reserve Michilía (Durango)

Much has been spoken of the enormous biodiversity of Mexico, but the natural wealth of our country has been profoundly transformed over time, pose a serious threat to native flora and fauna. So the conservation system developed in our country established new forms of environmental protection, including biosphere reserves.
The objectives of a biosphere reserve are:

Keep to the present and future use the diversity and integrity of biotic communities of plants and animals within natural and semi-natural ecosystems, and to safeguard the genetic diversity of species on which their continuing evolution depends.

Provide areas for ecological and environmental research, including basic education, both within the reserves and in areas adjacent to them.

Provide facilities for education and training.

What does a biosphere reserve? Basically of three concentric zones: the core area, buffer zone and transition zone.

Core area: consists of minimally disturbed ecosystems, and characteristic of a region of the world whether it be land, coastal or marine. A core area is secure legal protection, and will only allow non-destructive and does not adversely affect natural ecosystem processes, but it should be noted that subclímax on ecosystems, human intervention, such as fire or grazing may be necessary to maintain the natural features of the site.

Buffer zone is the area that is adjacent to the core, or around, its boundaries are delineated by law and generally correspond to the outer boundaries of a protected area as a national park. Here, activities are diverse and coordinated in such a way that helps to soften the core zone of any harmful disturbance coming from outside. These activities should serve the multiple objectives of the biosphere reserve and may include: basic and applied research, environmental monitoring, traditional land-use, stable cultural zone, recreation and tourism, environmental education and also training specialists.

Transition zone is the farthest part of the core area and is not demarcated, but is always a dynamic and expanding area of cooperation where the work of the biosphere reserve is applied discreetly to the needs of local communities the region. Thus, the transition zone may contain settlements, fields, pastures and forests, and there are economic activities that are in harmony with the natural environment and the Biosphere Reserve. It is particularly useful to integrate the process of planning its surrounding region: in other words, the protected area of the core and buffer zone are involved through the transition area in the development of the region to which they belong.

Biosphere Reserve. The Michilía was created in 1975 by the Institute of Ecology and the state of Durango, with the support of the SEP and CONACYT. To form, a civil partnership which involves the above institutions and local residents, leaving the responsibility to research the actions of the reservation. In 1979 Michilía joins MAB-UNESCO is the international program of research, training, demonstration and training aimed to provide the scientific and skilled personnel required for the utilization and conservation of natural resources of the biosphere .

Leaving the city of Durango, the main gateway to the biosphere reserve is the Pan-American Highway (45). For the 82 km reach Vicente Guerrero, and then take the road to Súchel, a town located 13 km to the southwest, this place, following the path under construction in Guadalajara, through a small stretch of pavement and the rest of terracería (51 km), one arrives at the station in Piedra Herrada Biosphere Reserve The Michilía.

The Michilía is located in the municipality of Súchel in the extreme southeast of the state of Durango. Covers an area of 70,000 ha, of which 7000 are for the core area, which is the white hill, located on the northwest corner of the area. The boundaries of the buffer zone are the mountains of west Michis Urica and mountains to the east, which also marks the division between the states of Durango and Zacatecas. The climate is dry temperate, the average annual temperature varies between (12 and 28 degrees). The typical habitat of the reserve is a mixed forest of encinopino with a whole range of variation and composition depending on the physical environment, there are also natural grasslands and chaparral. Among the important species include white-tailed deer, puma, wild boar, coyote and wild turkey or cocona.

Zone of Silence

La Zona del Silencio is a desert area of northern Mexico in the Bolson Mapimí and is around the point where the limits of Chihuahua, Durango and Coahuila.
Reported for the first time in the 1930s by Francisco Sarabia, Mexican pilot who said that his radio failed mysteriously while overflying the area. Since then, many people who have visited the area have reported that radio signals disappear upon entering the area and that compasses point to the left of magnetic north. Despite this, none has presented evidence supporting his claim, and less obvious solutions, such as the remoteness of the area means that radio and television signals do not have enough power, or that this area may be rich in iron ore .

Many of the phenomena of the area have not been investigated to the depth required, and the opinions on its very existence remains under debate. Despite this, no one has offered solid evidence to confirm these alleged facts.

In the central Bolsón Mapimí is located in an area that has attracted unusual interest and has been named Zone of Silence. The name is intriguing corollary to the myriad of decent myths that have arisen around the area.

Thick, dark clouds cover the overwhelming aspect of the sky. Driven by the wind, leaving small tear clear which filters the bright light of the stars and the glow of a fleeting aerolito across the sky. If a rain comes down, you can not leave the desert for several days

The soil is lacking in the dark light of the universe, only the lightning on the horizon, the glow briefly, cutting the black silhouette of surrounding mountains that look like sleeping giants, indifferent to the unrest of the spirit of those who contemplated.

To the south, a great distance, is perceived slight clarity of cities in the Shire Lagunera, lost in the background. In the vastness of the desert, the universe and the real men take their share.

We are in the Bolson Mapimí at the center-north of the country, some 180 km northwest of the urban complex Torreon-Gomez-Palacio Lerdo. El Bolson Mapimí is a closed basin, a bed of ancient lakes, which forms part of the Great Chihuahuan Desert, a vast arid zone that extends from the Sierra Madre Occidental to the east. Life in this vast wilderness, considered one of the most inhospitable regions of the world, is at all times with the many species of animals and plants that live here. Gained fame for this area is due to the enthusiasm of scientists and specialists of the phenomenon "UFO", but if you like the experience of "worlds" closest you will feel attracted to this land of mysteries and extraordinary sightings.

There are experienced guides in the region working in the Safari Adventure, which promoted a family trip or simple ceremonies load energy to extreme sports activities such as abseiling, biking wilderness kayaking and meticulous observation of the sky.
